I think this is an excellent idea actually. Doesnt it feel like we are all tired of screens now and it feels good with proper books again?

of course, but it will not happen in the united states in public schools. the united states has collectively decided education doesnt matter, and is more of a hindrance to military spending than anything else.

private schools in the u.s. are already on the corrective paths of sweden with regards to screen times and physical books, smaller classrooms and longer class times… but its all about the money. the united states already cannot pay for teachers. full stop, thats it. we cannot afford to pay human beings enough to be teachers, where the fuck do you think money would come to pivot back to a more time-consuming and effective method of education??

it will not happen as long as the military is the primary reason for our existence

    e. i say cannot … but the reality is they choose not to

I mean, there is no limit to money. Everyone saw during covid that you can just create money. They just dont want to do it unless they benefit. People having better lives? Nope, no benefit.
