Congressman Joaquin Castro calls for release of boy, Kaleth, and mother from much-criticized detention Dilley facility
A two-year-old detained in a family detention center in Dilley, Texas, is sick and not getting adequate help, said Joaquin Castro, a Democratic congressman from San Antonio. The boy, Kaleth, has a fever and is not eating the food served at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center, which Castro said detainees have complained of having mold and worms.
“When his mother asked for help, the staff said it was all ‘mental’,” Castro wrote in a post on X. “A vulnerable child at the Dilley trailer prison was suffering and ICE denied their reality and their needs. It’s shameful and must stop.”
Dilley has been criticized for not providing adequate care and food for families. In February, the detention center reported two measles cases. It’s the same facility where five-year-old asylum seeker Liam Conejo Ramos and his father were kept for a week after being detained in Minneapolis.
They are well under way to the modern day concentration camp and if anyone wants to complain that it can’t be compared to a concentration camp example Auschwitz can rightly FUCK OFF, it wasn’t known what was happening there until they stumbled upon it and millions were murdered and now it’s publicly known what it is so the question is do you want to wait until a few million suffer and die or realise and accept that history is repeating itself.
I strongly suspect executions are already happening at the camps. If they aren’t, they probably will be before this regime ends. And I’m not sure if it’ll ever be publicly known. I know to some I sound like a conspiracy theorist but there’s mountains of evidence the MAGA regime intends to do exactly as the Nazis did.
I hope the midterm elections turn things around but I’m pessimistic about it. I think Trump’s power will be solidified after the midterms. I think it’ll take revolution or war to end this.
You don’t have to suspect that, why do you think officials aren’t allowed in without announcing themselves a week or two before arriving even though a judge already decreed that’s illegal and if someone isn’t there they just say that person has already been deported, so you have to wonder how many get out of there alive.
MAGA would only care at a large scale if the baby is white. If he’s brown, then they want more of it. Disgusting.
When the cult implodes, these people will blend back into society with no consequences for what they did to our society. I wonder if there’ll be MAGA hunters (legally) like Israeli Nazi hunters in the 1950s+.
Hunting MAGA sounds good, but can lead to many issues for hunters themselves.
