I think we are going to see more and more of this. There is a point when someone will just feel they had enough.

I just spent the evenings of a week laying a 1000 piece puzzle while listening to audio books on my phone.

    It was brilliant.

I am also planning on building a Z-scale model railway in a suitcase this year.

I am a millennial at 38, I work in IT and AI have just about killed my enthusiasm for tech.

Yep it killed my interest also. Not going to work in IT anymore. It feels even more soulless talking to chat bots to create results. People are going to be completely replaceable. Salaries are going to drop, and whatever status engineers enjoyed is going away.

Here in Sweden we have sector based unions, as an IT worker, I am a member of the union “Unionen”.

Oh, and sympathy strikes are legal here.

Cancelling my data plan has been great for me. Been reading more too, though the hardest part of it is starting, digital entertainment has such a low barrier of entry and takes so little effort it’s hard to compete

I was also trying to read more books. It worked for a while but after two weeks, im back to the phone before sleeping instead of the books…

      Will keep trying though.
