I’m not them, but our oligarchs spend tons of money corrupting politicians on both sides[1] which pushes many Dems to be centrist and corrupt and serving the oligarchs. Truly progressive democrats are relatively rare.

Not just Dems. Dems who aren’t afraid of the establishment and are willing to burn the donors.
Might be a failure of my imagination, but I have trouble picturing a Dem donor who would feel burned by Dems going after trump.

Basically what this person said, yes. Donors like stability. Removal and rapid death penalties are unstable.
And all Republicans. And most Democrats. And the oligarchs funding/controlling the process. For a start.
