GOP Rep. Thomas Massie accuses Donald Trump of attempting to distract from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal by launching new offensive overseas
A Republican lawmaker has warned Donald Trump that the joint U.S.-Israeli assault on Iran “won’t make the Epstein files go away.”
Operation Epic Fury began in the early hours of Saturday morning and saw airstrikes on Tehran and other Iranian cities that ultimately led to the killing of the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and a wave of retaliatory strikes by the regime across the Middle East.

Lets say the Epstein files get released and it contains hard evidence that everyone in the US government are either pedophiles or genocidal maniacs, How is that telling us something we Didn’t know 20 years ago?

At this point this isnt about the files its about manufacturing a situation for trump to try and interfere at a more broad level for elections. If they are not fixed in his favor all the shit he has done is going to come back and bite him once dems gain control. And before anyone criticizes that the dems wont do anything for the people you are correct, they are going to go after this not because it helps people but because without it the oligarchs and elites in this would loose control to progressives coming to platform on actual change and justice.
Just like why the US ended slavery, it wasnt about freeing the slaves it was that eventually those slaves would fight for freedom and if they weren’t the ones leading those movements they were going to be taken out and that was not something the elites at the time could except so begrudgingly they backed ending slavery. This situation is similar and the epstien files are a manufactured problem to act as a proxy now. Bringing those people to justice is this genration of elites freeing of slaves meant to disrupt the growing collective action against the wealthy.
Right now we have people hating the billionaires and what they are doing to the world. If the ruling populace wants to maintain control they need to have some sacrificial lambs that they can feed to the masses. They needed a Trump and epstien situation, a group of individuals so vile we would be blinded to all of the injustice every other billionaire and politician has been doing to the common people. This way when they are able to bring “justice” to their manufactured situation people feel like they have gotten some power back, that they were listened to and it overshadows all the other injustice thats become to them. It diffuses the collective because the naive people will buy into this “justice” and think they dont need to fight anymore, dissolving the collective action that would actually spark change and remove those at the tops control.
I think trump is finally realizing now he is only but a puppet in this situation but one that got control of one of the most powerful positions in the world, he knows that once his term is up he will get thrown to the wolves quickly and he is fighting tooth and nail with his loyalist to make sure he stays in office till he is dead so he never has to face the end result and accept the fact he got got by the other elites who always viewed him as an outsider. They used trumps need to appease and be viewed as one of them for years, the reason for epstein wasnt for black mail it was to find someone so vile they could use them to be the new slave owner that these folks could “free” to disrupt collective action against the rich.
I bet you any amount of money that if you did a survey 20 years ago, you would get 90-95% saying that it is a wild conspiracy theory and isn’t true.
Sadly, I think this is opening many many Americans’ eyes.

People are moving on the Epstein files but I think the real enemy is America. Still go after the files… But remember who pulls strings. The Epstein files are the banana peel from Mario kart. The real enemy is up higher and probably more like the intelligence agencies agreement of the 5 eyes.
I think the downvotes are from people with good intentions but haven’t been able to give up on their ideas of what America is.
It’s a means of identity that they have. They feel the insult is directed at their position as “an American”. It’s something that has been told to them since birth. It’s hard to disconnect that from what “America” is to the rest of the world.
They focus on Epstein alone because it gives them a means in which to maintain that identity and focus it on “the elite” or whatever. They think “The system is capable of justice. We just need to fight within it”.
But, what they don’t understand, is that that’s exactly what “America” is. They don’t control America as “an American”. They Iran war is not a distraction from the Epstein files. It is an EXTENSION of them. It serves the same interests of the ruling class.
It feels comforting to focus on a single issue. It makes the problem seem fixable. We just need to stay focused and bring justice to the pedophilic elite.
Well, I think it’s clear at this point that the entire ruling class of our nation are built upon the structures that allow an Epstein to exist.
Epstein is not the entire iceberg. We have a president in power that is rounding up children with ICE. ICE is not a distraction from Epstein. It is an EXTENSION of it.
No one that understands this is “distracted” by something. They are working for the revolution that would require a justice to occur.
We will not get justice for the victims of Epstein. We will not get justice for the children trafficked TODAY by those same powers. Do you think these pedophiles stopped when Epstein was exposed? No. They have no fear. They have no fear because “Americans” are still believing that the current systems of government will bring them to justice. Stop believing that lie.
Please don’t be distracted by your hyper-focus on Epstein. You are missing the forest for the trees and we won’t ever have justice under the power structures we have today. Stop waiting for “the evidence” for that justice to come. It will not come. This “America” is not capable of that until you as “an American” understand this; and you fight for a revolutionary change.

I think if you think the “5 eyes” nations is anything but an extension of US power in an international way; you might be the one misunderstanding the commentor for “crazy” because you don’t get what they are trying to get you to understand.
5 eyes sounds like they are a bit of a conspiracy nut; with that vocabulary. Nothing really wrong with it. But I think most people would just say “the west”.
But do you think that Epstein is a single unique operation? Do you think that this isn’t involving all of “the west”? It clearly is.
