I want to see the rest of that quoted tweet. There aren’t a lot of ways to finish that sentence that would make sense.

Oh look at that, someone who probably spent zero time studying history, culture, philosophy or ethics is expounding on things they don’t understand!

Here’s a comic that solves his problem: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scud:_The_Disposable_Assassin

This is where Rick and Morty stole Mr Meeseeks from, and it’s the answer to that guy’s quandry: The AI needs to want to die. That doesn’t solve the problem of handing out disposable assassins for vending machine prices, but the answer to that is probably “try not to let society get to the point where these kind of people amass all the power and end up creating disposable assassins.”

(Thank you for the scouting work at the Nazi bar, it’s appreciated!)

I use libredirect for this. You can select multiple nitter instances and it supports a lot of other sites as well. It also gives you the option to redirect to the original if something doesn’t load. I also use a custom userscript to redirect lesswrong to greaterwrong because lesswrong has a tendency to crash my browser if I am doing anything else at the same time on mobile </ad>

One day the all mighty AI will turn him into the most delicious hamburger but no one will want to eat him because cannibalism hasn’t been cool in like 1700 years. What a waste of a life. If only his mother would have given him more Ovaltine as a child.

    They wrote the Crystal trilogy.
I mostly liked it, the fist two books are good in my opinion, the third goes really weird halfway and I didn’t like it as much.

His birth name was Max Payne, but he changed it because of the games.

I looked him up a bit, not enough out there about his early life for me to definitively say it was his birth name, but looks like it’s likely at least his real legal name at the moment.

      Nominative Determinism strikes again.
