Public debate about artificial intelligence in higher education has largely orbited a familiar worry: cheating. Will students use chatbots to write essays? Can instructors tell? Should universities ban the tech? Embrace it?
IF humankind is presently being driven into nonviability through misdirection, distraction, highjacking-of-world-rule-by-oligarchy, segregation-of-wealth-from-as-much-of-the-population-as-possible,
AND students optimize for sensation-happiness by NOT learning…
what is the difference between those 2 population-principles?
They’re the SAME principle!
Nonlearning-from-history, non-learning-in-school, non-making-gov’t-accountable, non-correcting-our-current-stampeding-off-the-viability-cliff … they’re all the same fundamental-nature: unconsciousness comforting itself, while obliterating our future.
Why would this surprise anybody?
It’s what our unconscious-minds WANT: non-responsible oblivion, consuming-feelings, being “helpless” as “protection” against accountability, etc.
