Many photo/video modes on phones can/do leverage dedicated NPUs Translation services that run locally At the end of the day, anything that can be done in parallel can leverage these cores.

For Linux anyways, Microsoft will slurp up everything, if youre using Windows your begging for your privacy to be non-existent.
