California could send a man to prison for 3.5 years for rescuing factory-farmed animals. Where does the movement go from here?

Not really sure what to put here…I usually put relevant excerpts, but that got this post deleted for doing that

What about dog fighting rings where the motive is profit? Or workplaces that expose workers to carcinogens for profit?

No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.
