Man I saw this just yesterday in the same arrangement. I thought it was cool, too.

Nope! But the store, Nico and …, is all over the country. I assume they all have the same things on display.
Makes sense, would have been fun if we had seen it at the same place.
I think that might possibly be a puffin, not a penguin.
And the red one is actually a Macaw
Macaws are parrots.
Missing colors on the beak, could be a royal penguin too.
Each colour’s a different piece of plastic, instead of being one piece with paint on, so the colouring has to be simplified, and the beak is low-hanging fruit as it’s obviously a beak even if it’s not as colourful as it should be. The shapes seem to be relatively detailed, though, and the beak shape is closer to that of a puffin than any penguin I can think of.
Oh man that is a throwback for me. I remember my dad had one just like the penguin but I think it was a duck head instead. I don’t remember the tripod feet, but that is such a good idea for an umbrella and cute with birds.
Why is the penguin the whole umbrella (handle is the head), but the parrot is only on top of the other umbrella?
The penguin is so much better for this reason…
Maybe a contradiction between the animal shape and the design requirements for the handle. If they had given the parrot a long neck, it would have looked like an overly stretched out parrot.
