Trump continued it by recognizing the joke candidate Juan Guaidó and ramping up sanctions, Biden paused the sanctions pressure to get some prisoners released and then ramped it right up when they didn’t elect the “correct” candidates, and now Trump isn’t even pretending this has anything to do with human rights or elections or national security or any of that other bullshit.
