Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday that Ukraine had tried to attack Vladimir Putin’s residence in northern Russia and so Moscow’s negotiating position would be reviewed, but Ukraine said it was a lie.
Russia said Ukraine attacked the presidential residence in the Novgorod region overnight with 91 long-range drones, which were all destroyed by Russian air defences. No one was injured and there was no damage, Lavrov said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the accusation was a lie, adding that Moscow was preparing the ground to strike government buildings in Kyiv. He said the Russian claim was an attempt to undermine peace talks.

Lukashenko claimed it would only take 3-4 days to take over Ukraine.

Ok, I am already aware. Lukashenko is not an official of Russia.
Military documentation shows that daily call signs were established for a two-week stretch from February 20 (when amphibious landing ships left port) to March 6.
March 6 being either the end of combat operations or the end of a two-week planning cycle.
And that’s evidence of nothing but that military planning always includes contingency.
Sure, he’s not an official, but he a good friend of Putin and surely he got that information from somewhere. And I don’t think most people care if Putin was actually the one to claim it would take 3 days. It’s not that important in the grand scheme of things.
But I appreciate that you try to be factual. It’s more than you can say about the Russian Government who lied and called the invasion of Ukraine a “special military operation” and as far as I know they still won’t admit that it’s an invasion.
That would involve actually presenting some facts, rather than a tendentious inference.
