No I wouldn’t consider these as viable everyday wear, but given how badly nearsighted I am, they still give me much better focus than my natural vision.

I got 2 pairs of these delivered today for only $7.16 total 👍

    1. If you’re in the USA, maybe look into something like GlassesUSA or ZenniOptical. You can save a shit ton on prescriptions and get multiple pairs for that amount, even with a crazy prescription. There might be other sites outside the USA, but I don’t know what they are off-hand.
    2. AI facial recognition doesn’t need to do anything special to get around people wearing dark sunglasses now, especially when the cameras are situated at a higher angle than your face and can see around the lenses. The glasses alone will not stop facial recognition.

      Regarding your points…

      1. I actually have 3 pairs of glasses, one prescription and 2 others that happen to work perfectly for me that were thankfully donated to me, one of those pairs is even better than any prescription I’ve ever had, so I think I’m good on prescription glasses for a while thankfully.

      2. Hence the hat, and guess what, I’m not even wearing the same hat that I wore for the photo…
