Based on one of TIME’s two cover photos, some of those people appear to be Nvidia’s Jensen Huang, Tesla’s Elon Musk, OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, AMD’s Lisa Su, Anthropic’s Dario Amodei, Google DeepMind’s Demis Hassabis, and World Labs’s Fei-Fei Li — all individuals who raced “both beside and against each other.”
I mean, they did Trump last year knowing full well what he was going to do. They are just trying to appease their overlords so they don’t fall out of a window in the future. And didn’t they do Hitler way back in the day too? Their person of the year award is pretty pointless, honestly.
It’s never been about heroes or people who made a positive difference. It’s not a prize. It’s simply those who were major news-makers in that year.
Which it seems most people have forgotten. I remember when Trump got put on it last year and everyone was raging.
