    Are you a librarian? What kind of library do you work in? I think academic and public libraries probably operate slightly differently.

      I would want to know if the dude ever actually read a book, but it would likely just be Cat in the Hat anyway. Not that there’s anything wrong with a cat in a hat, or anything…

      As a former public librarian. I prefer you put it on the cart if you don’t know how to put it back. I am a lot faster than you are at putting it back so let me. But that goes everywhere there is shelving - which is a lot of places.

      There’s no other special reason why.

        I just make earmarks and scribble ideas in the margin and eat loosely packed tuna sandwiches and then just leave the books on the floor. Is that ok with you? Because it’s ok with me, I assume it’s ok with everyone.
