When you think about how evolution maintained anger (or led to its development) you can start to understand what anger can motivate. Anger is a spectrum from annoyance to losing your shit. A certain amount is helpful. Flipping out helps no one.

Congrats on the 30lbs lost! 💖 You and me both. A healthy amount of anger can go a long way. I’m trying to get back on my grind right now and the frustrated anger is keeping me in the gym regularly (kinda)

Thank you friend, and congrats to you too! Yes, the anger triggered some self-reflection. “Nobody is going to make you lose weight or work out. You need to do this yourself!” Understanding and owning the responsibility of being your own advocate with regards to one’s health is important. It sounds obvious, but many shirk this responsibility. Though I don’t want to generalize too much, we all have our battles.

I did lose about 50lbs, but there’s always a bounce back when you try and normalize your diet and lifestyle. Nothing to be surprised at. Shedding 10 off would be better for me right now, so I suppose I need to get angry again! Just in time for the holidays! 😳
