    Until I saw the comm name I thought the person giving the money to the kid was grandma and this was a suicide joke.

    Edit: it would’ve made the joke way funnier imo.

    I think the point of this subject is to show examples of when the straights are not okay

    I know plenty of LGBTQ that would say or make this same joke

      Agreed. This is a “I’ve spent 40+ years with the same person and I’m fed up” vibe rather than a traditional “i hate my wife” vibe. I’d bet grandma is offering the same deal, cash now, you’ll get a bonus in cookies when the job is done.
