This, God’s honest, was the actual color of the sky that night. The air was warmer than the ground and that winter fog made the sky glow.
Just a short walk from my home, the snow crunching under my boots, the air crisp and cool and the bells of the boats in the harbor off in the distance singing their one note songs…

As I get older the more I learn to appreciate the cold snowy quiet nights. Makes me really consider moving farther north
