She didn’t just hand down a second ruling, she said no to any and all NG deployment from Trump.

Trumps and his lawyers decided since the ruling said no Oregon NG, that they could send in the California NG and that would be fine … the judge and the legal team involved worked the weekend and ruled no NG can be deployed.

He is probably going to try sending ICE in enmass.

This is really just a trial run for the 2026 elections, he wants to clamp down so he doesnt get impeached.

This is President Miller’s doing. Trump has no idea what is going on. Miller also fucked Melania. Maybe Trump is a cuck, everyone is saying it…

Hopefully ya’ll have burner accounts on right-wing media sites at this point… right?

It would be a great time to start seeding two ideas:

      1. Miller and Melania seen together - why isn’t mainstream media covering this???

      2. Every time we suggest Trump hire food tasters to protect himself from poisoning by jealous haters, JD Vance’s team shoots the idea down, not saying Vance is going to do anything bad, but why wouldn’t they want to protect the president? Just asking questions here! (We’re preparing for later, or honestly any day now.)

I’ve heard it called a “Cold Civil War,” which I think captures the feeling right now. Neither side is actively engaged, but the administration is stepping closer and closer to the line, using more and more overt uses of force and rhetoric.

A spokesperson of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division told the outlet that they are current investigating the fire.

Kittredge said SLED chief Mark Keel ‘said he will stay in touch and let us know if there is any evidence of arson.’

‘At this time, we do not know whether the fire was accidental or arson. Until that determination is made, Chief Keel has alerted local law enforcement to provide extra patrols and security,’ he added.

The judge has allegedly been receiving death threats in the past few weeks, sources told FITSNews.

So … the police will let the press know if there is anything to know. Ok then.

The Trump regime is slowed by the courts, even if the regime is clearly not respecting the rule of law. So why give up one tool in our tool belt? We can still resist and practice non-cooperation while the courts do what they can. And plus, the more roadblocks the courts put up, the more the regime will have to do unpopular, illegal shit in order to enact their fascist plans. They won’t be able to hide behind a veneer of legality.

While certainly true, we are fighting over the same military. And that military is oath bound to refuse illegal orders. So, the more judges that declare the orders illegal or declare an injunction against them, the more members of that military that will refuse orders.

Trump is known to turn on a dime against anyone who doesn’t do what he asks. Once he does that to military members refusing clearly illegal orders, more of them will refuse. So, every bit sets the stage for winning more and more of the military against the nazis.

Best case, JAG officers from a state national guard advise troops to ignore illegal orders, trump attempts to fire them, but doesn’t have the authority and he turns entire states worth of national guard completely against him. Then he orders other states guard to arrest them, and their JAG advises to ignore. So he orders the military to do it. And their JAG advises to ignore. Then he has lost the entirety of the military.

I think a lot of people are buying into the image of white guy + tac vest + gun = ICE = fed = military. These things are in no way equal but it’s an important part of the administration’s plans for you to imagine they are.

ICE is a big bark and a little bite. These people have minimal/no training, they are literally angry thugs on a power trip. Step back and actually think about the outrageous operations and headlines you see.

They’re tough guys when they outnumber you or are tackling a 70 year old nanny, but when faced with a critical mass of opposition they tuck tail and run. The only thing they have going for them is the costume and a gun.

Turns out that watching a bunch of conspiracy videos about how brown people ruin America doesn’t make you a tough guy. What actually does make you tough is years of drilling, specialized training, decades of institutional knowledge, engaging in real combat, etc. So we’re back to the eternal truth: the military are the true kingmakers of the state.

In terms of personal safety you still need to watch out for ICE on the streets. However, in terms of political power they’re a paper tiger. They could never lock down a city or shut down an election without massive military support. Whether the military would lend that support is an open question, but certainly not without a compelling reason (beyond the POTUS decrees it)

Yeah but that doesn’t mean we should just give up and let Fascism take over. Any pushback is good, no mater how ineffective it is. Make Trump’s life as difficult as you can. With enough luck, the pressure will send him to an early demise.

Well to start, the effectiveness isn’t possible to measure at this point.

However, the comment had nothing to do with that, and instead was about you comparing attempted protests to “participation trophies” which is a conservative dog whistle for “kids these days don’t have that dog eat dog capitalist spirit, do we need more lead in the air again?”

For context, WW2 was faught and won with participation trophy snowflakes. If it was good enough to defeat Nazis then, it’s good enough to defeat Nazis now.

Honest question. First, I agree with you. So it’s why I’m asking. Are you organizing in anyway? Protests? Mutual Aids? Organizations? Anything?

If you think this way I hope so. Because we need you. Shits getting real on the streets and I’m worried most people that realize that are at home watching Twitch streams or YouTube coverage of it.

Doomerism needs to die. You can still be realistic. But doomerism keeps you from acting. It’s the “freeze” of you flight or flight response and it’s not going to help.
