Know it for what it is.
( I was born into it, & 7+y, cumulative, of outright-homelessness helped grind-through that prejudice, in me.
Keep in mind that people are only responsible for their meaning over the long-term, simply because we’re brainwashed into meaning whatever it is that our family/culture put in us until we grow-up enough…
She’s certainly old-enough to choose her meaning, though… ( now it dawns-on-me that people “educated” into rote-learning are categorically less-capable of deciding their own meaning, than are people who learn considered-reasoning… damn, psychoevolution gets complicated, when counting all factors in it! )…
Oh, & the more-saturating/complete the social-pressure on someone, the less self-determining they are, so people can be pressured, continually, to maintain some social-identity, thereby eradicating from their life the ability to decide-their-own-meaning:
solitude & contemplation are a requirement for breaking historical-dysfunction’s self-perpetuating rule!
Whatever: in cases like her kind, simply disregard them, & oppose the ideology that they’re pushing:
it’s much more emotionally effective to not bother engaging them-the-someone. )
