Jane Goodall, the conservationist renowned for her groundbreaking chimpanzee field research and globe-spanning environmental advocacy, has died. She was 91.

Some of her final advice prior to her passing:

“Focus on the present and make choices today whose impact will build over time.”

      She was a classy lady, she might not have understood the gesture, but she would have weathered it with grace.
