Absolutely. It’s like how everyone “knows” that you can’t believe what you read in the papers, and will openly tell you as much, but then will still happily and uncritically believe anything they read as long as it fits into their existing worldview. Only now it’s a hundred times worse, because the makers of this thing pretty much never get held accountable for the vast mountains of bullshit they’re generating.
