    Snoop continued, “I didn’t come here for this shit! I just came to watch the goddamn movie!” He added, “Fuck me, I’m scared to go to the movies. They’re throwing me in the middle of shit that I don’t have an answer for.”

    Instead of explaining the existence of LGBTQ+ people, Snoop said he told his grandson to shush and “eat this popcorn.” Snoop then insinuated that LGBTQ characters may not be appropriate in children’s movies.

    “It threw me for a loop,” he said. “These are kids, that we have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions. I don’t have the answers.”

    Genuinely wondering what children’s questions they’re having trouble with.

    Because I’m imagining, “Grandpa, why are those two men kissing.”

    To which the answer seems pretty simple: “Because they love each other and they want to.”
