He needs the smaller donor crowd to step up and have his supporters continue to engage with NYC voters over their issues and not get distracted by racist bullshit dostractions such as his position on Israel.
Expect culture war bullshit to dominate the opposing campaign, including extensive astroturfing. Policy discussion will be avoided at all costs.
He’ll be painted as anti-Semitic, too brown and foreign, not trans-friendly enough, simultaneously intellectually elite and not elite enough. Anything to stir up the culture war infighting and purity tests that keep the left from making any progress.
And I keep reminding people there is a City Council that will limit some of his policies that they find issues with like a $30 minimum wage.
I mean they were already doing that in the primary. I expected to get worse like you mentioned.
