I’m doing a hearts of iron 4 playthrough as germany and just said no when the option of allying with Japan came up. It’s that alliance that ends up pulling the US into the war. This way I think Japan will have their own little war with the US and China while I fight it out with Britain and finish that up before even looking at the Soviets funny.
