The White House bid to terminate NASA’s fantastical flights of exploration “across the solar system” threatens to hinder American leadership in space discoveries.
Luckily there’s still ESA and CNSA, and I think India and Japan(?) have both been stepping up their space programs recently.
And I bet with NASA being gutted other agencies will want to try for the spot as the world’s leading space agency, like what NASA once was. It would be a huge boon for local industry.
