Ideas VERY rarely if ever actually survive the original source of them. The moment an idea is passed onto the next generation it changes. You can make an argument that it’s the same idea, but it rarely RARELY is. Much like a virus, an idea can have similarities to what came before, but each version is unique and has it’s owns strength and weaknesses. All you can really hope is that the next version isn’t more deadly and immune to the cure.
