Yeah, I just pulled my neck from reaching directly in front of me to open a cabinet. Can’t turn my head in either direction without extreme pain. On day 4 now.

Disclaimer: am not a medical professional, but I just went through a buttload of physical therapy for back and neck pain and this helped me.
Lay down, stick a rolled towel under your neck, and tuck your chin into your chest. Hold for a few seconds then release.
If you can afford to go to physical therapy, they are miracle workers. If not, you can certainly find videos on exercises to do.

In fairness, I could have picked a more legible font. There’s plenty of other snazzy art deco type faces to choose from the next time I want to point out and share some misery.

Fun fact: holding in a sneeze can cause a brain aneurysm and kill you instantly.
Can also cause ejected bowels, torn windpipes, and other fun things.

I was lying in bed when I sneezed and hurt my back.

I strained my eyes trying to read the word “sigis”.
Lower back specifically. Sneezing, not sitting straight on the couch even for just a few minutes, lying prone for an extended period, etc.

I strained a muscle doing a yoga.
Sometimes when I sneeze, my arm hurts.
I’m fairly certain it’s not a heart attack.
But you have to think about it every time…

44 years old. I pulled an abdominal muscle just by stretching the wrong way when I woke up.
