A bunch of CD’s I bought from a flea market the other day. Kate Bush, Blur, Morrissey, Hellacopters, The Flaming Sideburns… in my home city scoring decently priced 2nd hand vinyls is rare, but plenty of CD’s for 2-5 euros.
Everything. And if I say everything, I mean everything. Here a short list during gym today:
(Alone during my gym session I listened to following):
Alan Jackson - Countryboy… Parkway Drive - Crushed… Bullet for my Valentine - Waking the Demon… Flogging Molly - Devils dance floor… Jimmy Buffett - A pirate looks at forty… Dub FX - Love someone… Taylor Swift - Blank Space… Carnifex - Die without hope… Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills… Jake Owen - Barefoot blue jeans night… Shabboozey - A Bar song… Luke Combs - When it rains it pours… Parkway Drive - Sleepwalker… Dropkick Murphys - The Seasons… The Notorious Big - Juicy… Run DMC - It’s Tricky… Paris Hilton - Stars are blind… Tupac - Changes… XZibit - … …
I listen to all genres, no genre is bad all good songs no songs bad. I never heard a song that was bad in my life.
Sometimes my gym sessions have all genres but most of the time it isn’t all random. Sometimes I go to the gym and just listen to Metalcore, another time I listen to Country, Radio, … another time the 90s HipHop or just random stuff.
Favorite gregorian chant recording?
Ghost and Sleep Token both dropped new albums in a shirt time period, so I’ve had those on heavy rotation along with whatever Spotify throws at me in “Ghost Radio”.
I’ve been getting into swing this week. Some of the traditional stuff is really cool, and I discovered this thing called electro swing which really scratches an itch at the moment.
At the moment I’m listening to someone butcher a Bach piece.
The long agony cry of democracy dying under the relentless assaults of cupidity and egoism with the enthusiastic support of a quickly rising stupidity and illiteracy.
Sorry, that may not have been the kind of answer I was supposed to share. So, to keep myself asomewhat on tracks I may add that this WE I listened to some Beethoven and also some Jacques Brel.
Jacques Brel is very cool.
