I’d argue if they somehow remain a billionaire post mortem, then no, they’re still not a good billionaire.
They’re no longer billionaires at that point, their heirs are (or multi-millionaires if it’s divided enough).

Because writers/politicians/scientists are still considered such in life no matter what. On the other hand, if a billionare loses all of his money… he can in fact not be a billionare anymore.
