The rest of the world has been overly influenced by America, due to it’s wealth and power, for a very long time. We used to say that when America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold. Recent events have seen a great decoupling of the world from America. We’ve seen that the American way is utterly fucked. America is the turd that is sinking whilst the rest of the world will get more buoyant as the new reality sinks in.
