You don’t turn the lights on until Christmas Eve?? When do you put your tree up?
I bring it inside on the 24th.
And back outside after the 26th.
It’s a living tree in a large pot, and putting it inside for too long and then back out in the cold could kill it.
Its a regional difference i believe
