I can see taxing finished goods (hamburger helper) but not raw goods (apples, carrots). Is this the case in some of these states?

Because it’s probably lies. Something else is going on I mean, they’ve been together for a long time and scratched each others political backs. He helped to get her a seat in the Senate so they could continue helping each other politically. And only now she’s going to divorce him? I doubt it has anything to do with him cheating on her. Read her Wikipedia entry for fun stuff like…
“In February 2019, Paxton introduced Senate Bill 860, which would grant her husband the power to issue exemptions from securities regulations.”
“When Paxton declined to recuse herself from the trial, she was barred by the Texas Senate from voting on her husband’s impeachment.”
Think you missed the point. I really don’t care if these two destroy each other. Or if one or both of them quits. They are garbage people. I am rooting for neither one. The article headline implies I should somehow be invested in what happens.
Am I supposed to care?
I bet if a star college football player who wanted to go to Baylor came out as gay, Baylor’s values would suddenly change.
They’ll just replace her with someone just as bad, if not worse.
I wasn’t aware that “denaturalizing” was an actual thing. Is this something with legal precedent, or just something Stephen Miller has made up.
Beanie babies 2.0.
These people used to be put away in mental hospitals. Now they vote.
How many real life users are going to install software from somewhere other than the built in app store on their phone?
Governments are going about this the wrong way. The problem isn’t with app stores. The problem is that you can’t install a different OS on your phone (or current Mac, or iPad).
This is unfortunately not satire.

Lots of things we could do to encourage having children in the US. Like providing socialized healthcare. Investing in education. Higher salaries. Better work benefits.
But we don’t do any of these things. Quite the opposite. And yet the powers that be still expect us to want more kids?
What a shite article. Reads like a pro-natalism opinion piece instead of news. I gave up about 2/3 of the way through.
Goes on and on pointing the finger at women, as if men don’t want to have babies either. Has a very “it’s all your fault” tone. Then whines that baby boomers are aging out of the workforce.
Dumbass, there’s a reason they are called “boomers” - they were born during a period when there were an unusually large number of births. Boomers are the exception not the rule.
And the Trump administration has been putting everyone out of work (have you seen all the layoffs this week?), so it’s probably a good thing there will be less people in the workforce since there are equally less jobs available.
It’s sad and pathetic that Microsoft gave up on their own rendering engine. Edge is just a chrome clone with a bunch of privacy invading marketing crap stuffed into it.
“Maguire, an avid X poster best known for his investments in SpaceX and xAI,”
Tells me all I need to know about this dude.
Who says everyone on the train is from Denmark? Leaving expensive items unattended in public is a stupid thing to do, no matter where you are.
Dumbasses.
Is there any kind of donation from Nathan’s tied to this contest? Would be nice if it was something like “$1000 to the local food bank for each hot dog eaten.”
How does concentrating the sunlight like this not start a fire? Or wouldn’t this at least cause panel electronics to overheat?
