He should switch to Peertube.
He should switch to Peertube.
Democrats bear almost as much blame for nominating “lesser-evil” candidates over someone who is actually good.
Donald Trump won because Bernie lost, twice.
Yes, I’ve been against the tribalist take on free speech for awhile now.
Let people say what they want even if it makes you uncomfortable. We need to keep in mind that this censorship isn’t for the censors; it’s for the audience. They want to control what other people get to see, and by extension what they get to think.
We have to deal with 2 Trump presidencies because Americans were too stupid/greedy/corrupt to vote for Bernie.
Terrorism is the enemy of the “free world” because it’s a way for those being exploited to fight back without paying into the MIC.
It’s always sad when greed wins out over ethics.
If a culture can’t keep greedy people and ideas in check, it becomes nothing more than a vessel for abuse.
I will always support those who are willing to forego profits so they can do what’s right.
Couldn’t people say the same shit when regular cars were new and there was an accident?
“That’s why you’ll never see thousands of them going down a highway at 80 miles an hour.” -1920s idiot who needs to get their crystal ball checked.
We don’t have flying cars because technology has not progressed enough to make it economically viable for the masses.
Thanks, Legal Department
Another reason why I have 0 respect for anyone working in legal departments for businesses. They are unnecessary and make things worse to justify their existence.
Restricting your diet and skipping meals is the best way to lose weight.
Laptops are extremely useful. It really doesn’t make sense to avoid them.
I pretty much treat mine as my second brain.
If it’s free software, then anyone can implement the fixes themselves.
Doing so with proprietary software would be illegal.
This it’s why there is nothing “smart” in my house.
Sorry, this is just a funny statement.
Advertising should be illegal.
All the useful idiots wasting their money on this crap are getting exactly what they deserve.
How come we can’t design energy storage that lifts something heavy when there’s excess power, and lets it fall to generate electricity when needed?
Good.
If we’re going to pretend corporations are people, then we should treat them like slaves.
Because Linux is free software, we can implement the fixes ourselves.
Doing so with Windows or Crapple would literally be illegal.
Actually, yes. Lifting the weight of a Toyota Camry 2 stories seems reasonable for a day’s worth of energy storage for a house.
I’m not sure how expensive the lift and generator will be, but the weight itself can be anything that’s sufficiently heavy.
You say chemical energy is way easier to store, but is it really easier and cheaper to store the energy needed for a home in a chemical battery?
