You probably are unaware that both UPS and FedEx both contract USPS to deliver their parcels. Both last mile and long distance as well. A lot of packages are picked up by USPS their UPS store, and delivered to another UPS store, after a nice markup.

Also neither UPS or FedEx deliver or have any interest in delivering to every address I the US and its territories.

I’m hoping he’s being truthful. I not only believe the post office should not be privatized but should be subsidized. It’s a vital government service.

It’s very common. When I was looking for an apartment they wanted a $75 fee before even showing me the apartment. O told them I work too hard for my money to give it away like that.

I noticed lately on android that when you try to copy the link to an article it copies the page description instead. That kind of kills archive.org.

I basically use a childhood limerick in leetspeak. Easy to remember, tough to Crack. Like for example, Peter Piper pickedna peck of pickled peppers becomes “P3t3rP1p3rP1ck3d4P3ck0fP1ckl3dP3pp3rz!” Of course I never used that particular one, but you get the idea.

I miss the old days when the internet was a free-for-all. Anyone with minimal html skills could get a domain and basically make a site on whatever they wanted. Sure there was a lot of twisted stuff, but was also so much more fun.

It’s thatbsimple rule: if you don’t want it don’t subscribe to it. Leave it for those who enjoy it.

Trump is about to find out how wonderfully petty Brazil can be. Elon Musk found out earlier. They are also the 9th largest economy in the world, 5th largest country, the world leader in alternative fuels, and leader on the global south in food security. Also thanks to new agreements with China and EU they really need the US.

They also are the largest producers of sugar, beef, coffee and chocolate.

They are doing away with pennies too. So they upgraded to taking ever nickel now. Next year, they will be coming for dimes.

The threat of the IRS coming to take what little you have is just too great. It’s too bad they are not as aggressive with billionaires and multi-million dollar companies.

They kind of already do that. Not sawdust but just take a look at the list of ingredients in most of the food you buy. A lot of those ingredients are banned in most countries and pose health hazards for consumers, yet we still use them. We need not only tougher regulations, but to also properly fund the FDA so they can inspect properly. Of course companies lobby heavily against that, and with our current administration, there is a bigger chance they kill of the FDA than that happening.

It’s not just Delta. What we really need is tougher regulations to prevent this. Of course there is a snowballs chance in hell this will happen in this administration.

I live in the US. I’m sure I could order ot from somewhere but I doubt I could get it deveprd locally. Also like in the original post, it’s eb3n hard to find a photo album these days. To me it has more value as a relic than actually taking pictures.

Let’s see if this is the wake-up call THAT MAGA needed. We have been telling them for years that the Orange TACO doesn’t give a turd about them. Now they get to hear it from the horses mouth. WAKE UP MAGA!
