My phone’s manufacturer has built in compatibility and quick sharing with iPhone for a year. Fucking posers

What android phones have supported AirDrop for a year?

Because I can’t find anything online to support that claim. There are various apps that do similar transfers, but none of them work WITH airdrop specifically that I can find.

I never said AirDrop, I said quick sharing, and it’s OnePlus. They’ve been integrating themselves with Apple for a while

So, not about the topic at hand. Android has had Quick Share for years. And several other apps on both platforms going even further back.

This article is about native AirDrop compatibility without needing anything additional on either device.

Literally the second paragraph, and the entire reason this article was written is because of the AirDrop compatibility being new:

Today, we’re introducing a way for Quick Share to work with AirDrop. This makes file transfer easier between iPhones and Android devices, and starts rolling out today to the Pixel 10 family.
