Apologies if I’m misinterpreting you here, but I do not find the distinction between “had sex with minors” and “raped children” to be merely pedantic.

One of those is phrased as a consensual interaction, carrying water for the worst among us by glossing over the inherent violence, manipulation, coercion - the other one tells the truth.
