No no, this is not a distraction. This is something he is SUPER pissed that he hasn’t been able to end. He just didn’t think he had the clout for it until now. Not everything is a distraction, and mail-in voting specifically has been a bugaboo for the GOP almost as long as it’s been around. Physical polling locations are easier to suppress, and even easier to post armed guards near to “secure” (intimidate) people into voting the correct way.
