Many of the cruise-friendly Caribbean countries have camouflage as their military uniform and so it’s illegal to wear it in these countries.

Probably, because camo is usually a sign of a military wannabe, and saying you like it is like admitting to being one.

You may as well not be a military wannabe, but may make that impression nevertheless

To be clear, I didn’t downvote you for answering my question, that would be dumb and shitty

I think if someone looks queer and androgynous and is wearing cammo mashed up with other stuff, I think it’s usually pretty clear they’re not a military wannabe 😅

I wore this later that day cause the conversation got me thinking about camo in outfits- I don’t think I look like a military wannabe, I look like a twink wearing a sports bra 😅

You look fab, and I hope you will go on wearing what you like.

Regarding the effect camo has, I’m not 100% convinced. If it were pink or acid coloured ‘camo’ that’s one thing, but just a regular one I can’t disconnect from military in my mind. That of course will vary widely from person to person

That’s fair. It probably helps that I was headed to a social meetup in the kink community, where everyone is queer or neurodivergent and most already know eachother lol

Regardless, I hope you have a lovely day :)
