Waiting on my 12-yo to experience menarche. Gods. Mom sent her with pads the last two summers, nada.
Not looking forward to the talks we’ll have, but at least her mom and I are on the same page, educated her. LOL, she’s dying to start, excited.
Yeah hon, it’s a life changer, but not so great.
our goddaughter is also 12. same sitch. i am a little worried for her mother because if this is pre-puberty she is in for one hell of a ride. goddaughter’s already as mood-swingy as I ever was (and I was the drama Queen Bitch (working on it) of the performing arts department of the high school and all three major colleges I attended, and I didn’t even do the performing arts program of two of those colleges I just had that much drama), and we only expect that to intensify.
Does anyone know of any hotels with padded walls and ceilings we could check into for a couple days and just, scream? those sound really quiet and peaceful.
I’m convinced that they make cell phones slippery on purpose. They either get to sell more accessories like cases, or they get to sell you another phone when you inevitably drop and break it.
And they make them so thin you need a case to actually hold it, also at the cost of battery size and other useful features.
I love that battery technology is shrinking but I don’t want paper thin cell phones. Just keep it the same size and give me a better battery life
And they make them so thin you need a case to actually hold it,
You probably don’t want an integrated case, or the phone vendor picks your case options, and you’ll have rather fewer. Few enough customizable options on cell phones as things stand.
This is in no way to disagree with the bit about how it’d be nice to have a thicker phone and larger battery.
sir mixalot comin in “i like big batts”
Taking into account manufacturers somehow decided that glass, a very fragile material ESPECIALLY when thin, should be the ✨premium✨ material and all decent phones NEED to be wrapped in it…
Maybe there’s some truth to that lmao
