I respect Luigi… he saw a problem, put his mind to it and came up with a plan, which he executed very well. It seems like he had thought out everything well in advance, including all of the trolling details. What I don’t get is why, after leaving the state, does it seem that his planning stopped? He could have had a car waiting for him in Altoona and then used it to drive to a national forest somewhere in the south where he could have camped out for a few months, laying low while his trail went cold and he was no longer on the tops of people’s minds. Maybe shave his head and/or grow a beard. Then he could move to a hostel in San Francisco and pick a new target and start the cycle again - or just find a way out of the country and live out his days.

To be clear, I’m not advocating any of this, I’m just not sure why he made the choices he made when the rest of his plan seemed to be so well thought out.

I feel like the whole ‘Family Values’ thing hasn’t been a talking point from the republicans in a long time. Have any of these 3 actually lectured about family values?

When I was around 10 years old my dad had a couple of muzzle loader pistols that he enjoyed shooting. He gave me the safety talk, and showed me how it worked, then he handed me the gun for me to shoot for the first time. It was actually the first time I’d held the gun and it was much heavier that I thought it would be, and I immediately dropped it at our feet. Fortunately it didn’t go off, but it left my dad pretty shook up.

I grew up in the Southern Baptist Church and I remember the preacher standing in front of the whole church preaching about why we need to support Israel because rebuilding the temple is required for Armageddon. They read Revelations and want to experience it, rather than fear it.

While you’d think an adult (the deputy) would know that they shouldn’t rape someone, the sheriff is the one who deputized him, and is responsible for giving him power in the community.

But then your loved one (mom, dad, sister,child) dies.

I’m sure he’s changed his mind on the subject since then.

I work in manufacturing, there’s no way a small manufacturing company is going to be able to put up the capital to pre-buy and entire year’s worth of product, and then find a place to store it, especially when there have been no details at all released on any potential tariffs.

Everyone needs to realize that trump was saying anything he could possibly say in order to get elected and stay out of jail. He made promises to people so they’d help him. But it is trump, he isn’t a man of integrity. He’s going to do whatever directly benefits him. He doesn’t have to worry about being elected again. Just because he said he’s going to do something, doesn’t mean he’s actually going to do it now that he’s gotten what he wants.
