Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville is set to retire next week, while Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday will depart in mid-August.
Funny how the “support our troops” party is actively sabotaging military readiness.
Ha, who am I kidding, they don’t support anything other than their own power and their (suporters’) bank accounts.
they don’t support anything other than their own power and their (suporters’) bank accounts.
And punching down, scapegoating and oppressing vulnerable minority groups, they’re big on that.
And yet the military will continue voting Republican. The same people who are doing everything they can to destroy the country they’ve sworn to protect.

Trump may have changed that:
[2020] Military Times Polls, surveying active-duty troops in partnership with the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University, have seen a steady drop in troops’ opinion of the commander in chief since his election four years ago.
In the latest results — based on 1,018 active-duty troops surveyed in late July and early August — nearly half of respondents (49.9 percent) had an unfavorable view of the president, compared to about 38 percent who had a favorable view. Questions in the poll had a margin of error of up to 2 percent.
Among all survey participants, 42 percent said they “strongly” disapprove of Trump’s time in office. …
Among active-duty service members surveyed in the poll, 41 percent said they would vote for Biden, the Democratic nominee, if the election was held today. Only 37 percent said they plan to vote to re-elect Trump.

By conservative, I specifically mean they want to maintain the status quoe. Compared to overturning an election and overthrowing the federal government, anything the Democrats could possibly propose is conservative in comparison.
They already are. Republicans have been moving away from classical us style conservatism since reagan decided deficits don’t matter.
and if anything happens because of this theyll point to the biden administration and launch 50+ investigations when they dont like the results they get.
On hand fuck Tuberville for blocking the unanimous consent vote. On the other if these nominations are so important then why are they not getting a regular vote? I realize that will take longer, but still. Do the Dems not have the votes or something?
Really dangerous shit here
OH well there will be an election in three years so we can’t be confirming anyone now. need to wait for the new president.
