    Sounds like Jared has his finger on the pulse/jugular.

    There is certainly no reason for Elon to develop a sense of paranoia about his motives and total access to his life.

    Birchall was born in September 1974 in Modesto, California.[2] As one of 11 children, his family toured California as part of a musical group called “The Birchall Family Singers”.[3] He earned an Eagle Scout rank in his youth.[2] He entered the Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1992 and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Before graduating, he also spent two years as a Mormon missionary.[4][5]

    I bet his parents are so proud of him.

    To be fair, the only mormon I ever knew was a decent guy. He was a co-worker, so he wasn’t trying to convert anyone, and I have no idea what went on in his mind, or what his life outside of work was like.

      Anecdotal I know, but I know quite a few mormons, mostly from Utah. A lot of them are good people, albeit they live very sheltered lives. So they are fearful of the wider world.

      But a significant minority are very problematic. Too many of the Utah mormon men are emotionally-stunted man-children and really annoying. And too many of the mormon women there are stuck in some form of stockholm syndrome where they fight against their own interests because of emotional conditioning.

      It’s a cult so you are trying to apply logical thoughts to someone who is deeply irrational. My best advice as an ex-Mormon is to simply view them like you would any other cultist: from a safe distance with a decent drink in hand.
