Aren’t Florida Cubans pro Trump because they think he’ll overthrow the Cuban government?

They’re often families who fled Cuba during or after the revolution. Plantation owners, landlords, capitalists, etc.

They’re also pro-Trump because they were brainwashed to believe anything else would be Communism.

Cuban Americans tend to be conservative and republican but not every Cuban is.

“When an individual is no longer in ICE custody then ICE will no longer be responsible for them,” the agency said. “This is common sense.”

Kinda like when they “dropped off” that guy who didn’t speak English and didn’t have a phone or his wallet outside a closed Dunkin Donuts in the middle of a freezing night wearing summer clothes - who could possibly have foreseen that he’d freeze to death?!

I’ve always been concerned, but I will only be truly shocked - not any more devastated - when it happens to Little Marco.

… A month after arriving in the Central African Republic, Moreno and 35 other immigrants deported on a 21-hour flight remain in Bangui, the country’s capital, without passports and no information about what will happen next. They stay at the Maison Confort, a modest hotel located in a busy neighborhood near central Bangui.

Moreno said they feel forgotten and fear they could be moved to another country. He said African authorities told them they may have to leave the room where they are staying within 90 days. He started an online fundraiser to help himself and other deportees start over in Bangui.

“It is a completely inhumane situation,” Moreno told the Tampa Bay Times via WhatsApp. “What are we doing here? It is a question we ask ourselves every day.”

Four months in a paid room? No CECOT?

    Has he said, "Thank you?“

Why are people shadenfreuding as though every single Cuban American is a trump supporter? Even if a majority does, are you only worried about those that don’t? Are you even worried about them at all? Just seems like so many people have become what they hate.

Though I know they don’t all support him, at this point I am only worried about ones that don’t.

If you wanted this to happen then I’m glad you’re experiencing it. I don’t care if you were able to vote for it or you just hoped it would happen. I don’t want to share space with people who support Trump. They are bad for their community (not just cultural community, I mean the actual people around them). This whole paradox of tolerance thing has been done to death. If you wanted “those people” out and you happen to be “those people” then yea, I’m glad you’re gone.

I believe that all people deserve certain rights, but if you don’t believe that and someone has to experience it first hand, then I really don’t mind you seeing the consequences of your own goals.
