This is legitimately a very bad thing. People shouldn’t have their files on some corporate data extraction server. At this point, corporations essentially count as the government, making this the most dystopian era of human history.

I ran some commands a couple years ago and managed to completely delete one drive lol, it kinda messed with my standard file tree on the desktop tho. I’m glad I did it, my computer is mine.

I cant describe the revulsion that this makes me feel.

Is this the same feeling the previous generation felt when they saw us all using these newfangled computers, or is it a justified feeling?

I dont know, but I dont like it.

You can disable, and remove onedrive. At least you can on my version of windows, since I gutted it out of my PC.

Joke’s on them, I can’t afford it. ALL the jobs are offshore.

They might be able to sell me some more debt…if the price is good.

Mad Magazine once spoofed the movie Independence Day, in which Jeff Goldbloom’s character destroys the alien ship by installing Windows 95 on it.

I’ve had that magazine taken away from me during class by a teacher trying to teach me about checks and balances in our government.

        Mad Magazine #350

Now isn’t that funny. Mad Magazine is a better education than school.

One of them is looking further down the road than the other.
