Why the fuck is the rocket ship company dabbling in AI? That makes no sense. What possible synergy is there between the two branches of that company?

Is it strange that I almost never hear of these AI models until I read an article like this? I am not purposefully avoiding seeing these things, but I guess I’m not working in an area where people talking about them.
