Having worked in logistics I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the driver had been being called every 20 fucking seconds for an updated ETA on a load that isn’t making any profit.
Imaging $1.20/mile on a 2,500 mile 11 hour per day run… shivers.
Driver: fuck, I really hoped to spend some time alone but nooooo, they needed to “save” me and blow my excuse for absence at the family gathering. I hate this life.
Sounds like one CDL that needs to be pulled off the road.
