Why would anybody use Threads? I made an account on there just to see what it’s about and it was so shitty that I ended up deleting a couple of hours later. Most of the content is just ragebait, political misinformation, and businesses/influencers trying to shill something. For every 10 posts you might get 1 or 2 that doesn’t fall in these categories. It’s just bad, and not in a good way.
There was a handful of people I met there that I thought were cool that going back to Mastodon wanted to follow and honestly it’s the only sane way to interact with that platform, it feels like TMZ made a Twitter clone.
