A 13-year-old student was expelled from a Louisiana middle school after hitting a male classmate who she said created and shared a deepfake pornographic image of her, according to her family’s lawyers.

So, technically speaking, shouldn’t that kid who was hit be arrested for producing child porn? The girl was 13, so the image is of a child, and the image was lude/lacivious.

I read it. It specifically relates to AI charges. Article says:

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre said one student was charged with ten counts of unlawful dissemination of images created by artificial intelligence in September.

It does not say anything related to the creation or proliferation of child porn.

        The article specifically says:

attorneys say the young girl endured bullying after the deepfake nude image was circulated throughout the school.

The nude image in quotation is of a thirteen-year-old girl. So, what I’m saying in my above comment was the person who is charged needs to face additional charges related to child porn and be put on a list.
