Other fossil fuels are typically transported by barge, rail, or pipeline. Barge and rail could use oil to transport things like coal, but that’s not going to be a significant portion of the cost. I agree we need to be investing in renewable energy, but it’s not going to impact the price of gasoline unless most switch to electric vehicles
